Hello!
It’s definitely gotten warmer, and my progress on books has definitely picked up. Sometimes it feels like I’m insane working on so many projects at the same time, but it’s also been super productive for me. Not only have I been making real progress on all the projects I mentioned in the last newsletter, but I’ve been booking events for me to go to (because I really love book fairs, conventions, etc., and getting to meet people). But I figured another progress report would be good, and I think it’s a really good report!
Misguided Mischief: The first Chadwick Cases novella is up for preorder! In just 11 days you can have the eBook in your hands (so to speak). This one will NOT be released in paperback on its own, but will be part of a novella omnibus once I have more of these stories done.
Twisted Intentions: Book 2 of the Chadwick Cases series has JUST been finished, so it’s also up for preorder! It will be released next month.
Avenged: I’m still working on the first draft for the sequel to Hunted, but I AM making good progress here. My goal is to release it in the later part of 2026. (I’m shooting for October, but we’ll see how the second half of the book treats me.)
Stone Prisons: This one is being edited, but while it’s further along than Avenged, it also needs more work. This book sat in a metaphorical drawer for years, and when I began editing it, I realized just how much my writing style has evolved and improved since then. I’m shooting for the beginning of 2027 for this one.
Emerge: This one has, unfortunately, taken a back seat to my other projects. It’s a first in a lot of ways and I want to make sure I do it right. I am still working on it, but it isn’t first in line. This will be a 2027 release, but that’s all I know at the moment.
The Athenaeum: No set date yet on the hardbacks, but I have gotten the first proof copies, and it was pretty damn awesome to hold copies of MY books in hardback. I’m hoping to have a bigger update on these in next month’s newsletter.
I’ve also added several events to my calendar on my website and I’m hoping to add a few more for this year. I’ve also added more story ideas to my ever-growing list of ideas for future books, so as long as life cooperates, I’ll keep putting out new books.
