Hello!
It feels like a lot has started happening in the past few weeks, but that’s not a bad thing! It’s given me an excuse to stay out of the heat (and the unending rain), and focus on my books. I’ve got several updates for you this time, and I’m starting to ramp up to some other projects that I’m excited about!
To start off, I’ll be back at the Thursday party at Dragon Con this year! If you go to Dragon Con and have NOT gone to Sherrilyn Kenyon’s party on Thursday, you’re missing out on meeting more than a dozen authors. If you have gone to the party, come back and see me again!
Twisted Intentions is out! Since it’s the first brand new Chloe story in several years, this one made me happy. I’m working on the story for the third novella so I can get this one (and Misguided Mischief) to you in paperback form. It will probably be early next year, but we’ll see how quickly that story comes together.
After a couple of weeks where my day job and life got in the way, I’m back on track for the next Prisoner 4287 book. I’ve even got a cover! You can see that below. This book has been a pain in the ass for me. Some stories just want to flow out of me, like every word is already written in my head. This one? It’s stubborn, despite me knowing exactly where it needs to go. But it happens! Still, you will get to find out what happens to Abby, Ethan, and the rest of the Dry Creek crew. (Don’t worry, Wink will be fine!)
This is a small update, but I’ve referenced Stone Prisons multiple times, since it will be my first standalone and was my first book. I have called it that since I was working on the first draft. No more! While that’s not a bad name, I think The Guardian’s Flame is way better, so it’s gotten a name change. (Sadly, no, it’s not done editing, but it’s on my mind, I promise!)
My last update isn’t about a new story. (Sorry!) If you’re like me, and you’re reading eBooks, you don’t want to constantly find the next book, download it, and open it. eBook boxed sets are fantastic for eliminating that, and I’m working on doing just that for my existing series. Handy, too, that the Athenaeum is 3 books, and Immortal Love is 6, which means they’ll split nicely into 3 boxed sets. The Athenaeum is going to be first, but I plan on doing the Immortal Love series hopefully by the end of the year.
That’s it! I’m still working on my various projects, and I still plan on getting at least one more new book to you by the end of the year. So keep an eye out, and keep reading!
