January 2026 – Happy 2026!

Happy 2026!

I know 2025 was rough for a lot of people, myself included, so I’m starting this year off positive and deciding it WILL be better than last year! I’m actually really excited for this year and have a lot of fun projects in the works. It’ll probably be a little while before I release another Megaverse story, but don’t worry, I’m still going to be releasing several books this year! I also plan on attending several events, and as always, you can check for those on my website, and I’ll also announce them here.

But I said I’m excited about this year, and here is why:

  • The first book in a new series (probably a duology) is in editing. This is my first vampire-centric story, and has a different tone than my other books. Imagine that vampires are NOT top of the food chain, but are an endangered species, despite still hiding in the shadows. You’ll get a grumpy MMC, a strong FMC, and some fun side characters, all dealing with a variety of enemies, including vampire hunters and the government.

  • I’m also working on another new series (planned to be a trilogy). This one is my first high fantasy series (meaning it takes place on a fantasy world instead of Earth), and on top of that, it turned out to be a why choose story. (Which means a woman who ends up with multiple men—no cheating involved.) It’s been a lot of fun to write, and I’m planning on doing something special with this one. (Hint: I may be checking into special edition hardbacks.)

  • I’ve commissioned my first maps! One is for the high fantasy series above, but the other is for…Lemuria! It’s easy to figure out where things take place when I mention Connecticut, England, Brazil, etc., but when I make up a continent in the middle of the Pacific, that’s a little different. So I’m super thrilled about that!

  • I’m also in the plotting stage for what will hopefully be the first in a series of novellas called the Chadwick Cases. So yes, I am absolutely planning on giving you more of Chloe, Salus, and everyone’s favorite crow, Mavros. Which is good, because several people (my sister) have been bugging me for more Chloe.

  • I have not entirely forgotten about the Megaverse, either! Vazi’s story is starting to form in the back of my head, along with Kara’s and Echidna’s. They’re just taking a backseat to the stories that are screaming at me.

On top of all that, I’ll have my first event in less than a month, my puppies are finally turning 2 and leaving puppyhood in a week (not that I imagine it’ll change much), and the hubby and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting into astrophotography. So far we’ve taken a couple amazing pictures, including the moon, the Orion Nebula, and the Andromeda galaxy. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you might have already seen them.

So come out and see me on February 7th at the Middle Georgia Lit Fest and keep an eye out for more news on upcoming books! And as always, keep reading!
