September 2026 – Book Fairs and the Guardian’s Flame

Hello everyone!

Another Dragon Con is in the books! As always, it was a lot of fun, though the Atlanta heat tried to spoil it. (Then again, Atlanta heat tries to spoil everything.) At least the North Georgia Regional Book Fair was indoors! That was also fun.

I’ve got another event coming up next weekend (the 26th), and if you’re in the Marietta area you should definitely check it out. The Georgia Indie Book Faire is always a lot of fun, and there are some amazing authors there. I’m even planning on hitting a few tables and adding to my library. I’ve also got Books and Boos coming up on October 10th in Canton at Damsel Bookstore. More amazing authors AND we’re encouraged to wear costumes, so it’s a win-win! (See my events page for details of all these fairs.)

As for my books, I’ve got a good news/bad news situation. Bad news first: Avenged is getting postponed because I don’t want to give you guys a subpar book, and it’s giving me a bit of trouble. It’s obviously very different from the other books I wrote, and it’s taking a bit more time and research to get it right. It IS coming, though, I promise. I won’t leave you hanging for too long.

Now the good news! With Avenged being a problem child, I’ve put some more work into The Guardian’s Flame, and will be releasing it next month instead. As I said before, this was the first book I ever wrote, and will be my first standalone. More, this is the true beginning of the Megaverse. The Immortal Love series and Athenaeum trilogy only exist because of this book. It’s got witches, a stone circle, demons, and a happily ever after, and I’m really excited for it to finally get out in the world! I’ll be putting it up for preorder soon, so keep an eye out!

Until then, keep reading!
